The White House Wants to See What Your Students are Doing!

Cupertino teachers – I know you are doing amazing stuff in your schools – Here is a chance for your students to show-off and be recognized!  Its quick and easy…..

The White House is hosting their first video contest for students to show off what they are doing with technology in their schools.  Students just need to make a 3 minute video showcasing their projects.  A parent or teacher will need to “sponsor” the submission.  Winners win a free trip to the White House for a screening of their video!!

Ideas to help students focus their video on:
How does technology help with:

  • Personalized Learning
  • Online Learning
  • Global Collaboration
  • Student Creativity
  • Making and Tinkering
  • Project Based Learning
  • Critical Thinking

The video should show at least one of the following:

  • The use of technology as a creation tool
  • The use of technology in new and innovative ways
  • The use of technology to access high quality online content and resources

Please make sure you have media permission forms for any student who is recognizable in a video submitted.  If you have any questions or would like any assistance from the district office, please email: edtech@cusdk8.org
